We have now entered a no-single-use-plastic-bag era in California. FLC has long anticipated this by providing re-usable cloth bags for $1 for many months.
We have now entered the lead-up to the 500th Anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation. FLC has anticipated this by, among other things, placing a life-size cut-out of Martin Luther. Come and take your picture with him and post it on social media.
We have now entered our Freeing Faith stewardship appeal. How we respond remains to be seen. We will bring our pledges to the altar on December 11th and tie them to a Christmas tree as an expression of our gratitude to God for the great gift we receive in our Savior, Jesus Christ, celebrated at Christmas and always.
