read that joke on a Bazooka Bubble Gum wrapper.
When is water not
water? In Baptism, when it’s used in
accord with God’s command and connected with God’s word.
I’m pretty sure I
first learned that from Martin Luther. J
What’s that Word?
“Go therefore and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit…” Matthew
28:19
That’s also the
command. No joke.
